Lindengracht, Suikerbakkersgang
There was a small alley here called the Sugar Bakers corridor (dismantled in 1895). After
dumping Cecilia's body and re-entering town through the nearest gate to the Haarlem Gate,
Donker left the empty basket in this corridor. The Lindengracht, now filled up, constituted one
of the Jordaan neighborhood's characteristic small canals. The corridor was to the right of the
house with the restaurant.
